It's been said many, many times in these pages and I'm going to say it again. Mind Game director Yuasa Masaaki is one of the great, under appreciated talents in the world of animation. His work is playful, smart, stylish and unlike anything else out there. Hell, his new works are even unlike his OWN work as the man proves to be a remarkable chameleon, shifting styles radically from project to project. His latest is Yojohan Shinwa Taikei, a new television series launching soon. We've had a brief tease from it already but now a full trailer is available and it is typically brilliant.
I have absolutely no doubt this is going to be the best anime of the upcoming season.

Kemonozume? Good, but I have to say I liked Kaiba more. Either way I'm excited as well. I'm loving the 80's-esque music when he is picking his club - "Tennis Circle Cupido."
