The venerable Weekend Of Horrors makes a return to Los Angeles on May 21-23, and what a return it is. Independent of the Fangoria imprint now, Creation Entertainment has gone and put together one hell of a line-up.
Including the legendary maestro of Italian horror cinema Dario Argento (director of seminal classics such as Deep Red Suspiria, Inferno, Opera, need I go on?), horror icons Robert Englund (the original Freddy Krueger from the Nightmare On Elm St. series for those who have been trapped in a dungeon for the last 30 years), Stu Gordon (director of Re-Animator, From Beyond, and the hit stage play Nevermore), Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator, The Frighteners, Nevermore), Barbera Crampton (Re-Animator, From Beyond), as well as pretty much every person that has ever donned the Jason Voorheese (Friday The 13th)  and Michael Meyers (Halloween) masks in their Men Behind The Maniacs panels. Yep, that's a damned solid roster, this promises to be one for the history books.
There will also be a Shock'N'Roll Spooktacular on Friday night, film programming all weekend long in the Frightful Film Room, a Gruesome Art Ghoullery, as well as other events and a dealers room where fans can purchase all kinds of nifty and terrifying trinkets.
The killing grounds this year will be the LAX Marriot Hotel, located a mere two blocks from the airport at 5855 West Century Blvd.
Go to Creation Entertainment's Weekend Of Horrors 2010 page for more info and tickets, as well as hotel info and rates.  I hope to see you there, it's going to be a scream!
