Given how pricey this is to import my guess is that only the most fanatical of Thee Michelle Gun Elephant fans will jump on the upcoming Japanese DVD and BluRay release of concert film Last Heaven 031011 but given that I am one of those fans it certainly seems worth pointing out that the band's final concert becomes available for purchase in just over a week.
And for those looking for a less expensive way of seeing the film - in a much larger and louder format, no less - well, if you're in Toronto, do I ever have news for you!
Though we have not yet announced the full lineup I have just locked the film program for the Music For The Screen series at Canadian Music Week 2010. And guess what's in there? Last Heaven 031011 screens Saturday March 13th at 3pm at Toronto's Royal Cinema. Be there. We're playing it loud.
