You want hard boiled cops, vicious thieves, lots of gun play and dangerous stunts o'plenty? You want Dante Lam's Fire of Conscience.
The investigation of a prostitute homicide brings headstrong, heavy-handed Detective Manfred in an unlikely collaboration with sly, man-of-the-world Inspector Kee from the Narcotics Bureau. When the DNA samples of one of Manfred's fellow officers are found at the crime scene, implicating him as the prime suspect, Manfred must look beyond the obvious to get to the truth. Meanwhile, Kee's uncanny eagerness to lend a helping hand every step of the way outside his own turf is beginning to smack of evil. In the line of fire between high levels of corruption and possible malice, Manfred must solve all the twists and turns of the mystery, trying to figure out who his enemy is and how to save his innocent partner from unfathomable disgrace. Unwittingly, he is about to open a Pandora's Box that will threaten to upend the entire Hong Kong Police Force.Lots of hard-edged Hong Kong goodness in the just-released trailer.

This looks excellent. Dante Lam is one of the few directors who can properly use hand-held camera work, putting you in the midst of the action AND letting you see clearly what's going on. Saw some familiar faces in there from Beast Stalker and The Sniper too...
Awesome. Can't wait to see this!
Looks like the release date is April 1, so hopefully that means June or July for the HK DVD/blu-ray.
Oooh nice. Looks like there's allot of fine looking action sequences there and it seems the performances are not as melodramatic as they usually are.
The quality has me thinking The Sniper (not good). Dante Lam better not screw this up.
That looks excellent.
Very nice! true old style.
Looking forward for it.
Sweeeet. It feels GREAT to see something old-school coming out of Hong Kong.
Obligatory expression of my love for Dante Lam's JIANG HU ~ THE TRIAD ZONE. BEAST COPS (co-directed by Gordon Chan) is nothing to sneeze at, either.
A Must-See in 2010!
