Not all animation always needs a rich visual details and realism to work in aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Adopting the motto that less is more, the CG animated short Pivot from Netherlands apply a unique style of "low poly" count in its character models and environments for a minimalistic approach. It was animated and designed by a Dutch team - Kevin Megens, Floris Vos, Arno de Grijs, and André Bergs - with music/sound design by Alex Debicki.
When a man is witness to a murder and takes pictures of the killer, he has to run for his life. During the chase he is able to turn the tables and the prey becomes the hunter. That was pretty damn cool..! A cat and mouse foot chase with a hint of tron is what it made me think of.
