Yes, you read that headline right. Quentin Dupieux's Rubber features an angry psychic tire as its protagonist, a tire rolling through the desert wreaking steel-belted vengeance by psychically exploding the heads of anyone it doesn't particularly like. That this would be a very silly film was certain the moment it was announced. What is surprising is that it also looks to be remarkably well done. The stills we found a while back were fantastic and now sales agents Elle Driver are showing an extended promo reel full of tires shaking with rage and deliciously squishy exploding heads. We're hoping to be able to share this with you soon so keep an eye open for an instant cult classic.
