Leading up to its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival next month, the first trailer for Roman Polanski's The Ghost Writer has arrived in Germany. Which means it's dubbed in German, unfortunately.
Ewan McGregor stars as a man hired to complete the memoirs of a former British Prime Minister and ends up caught in government conspiracy and cover up. If this one fails I honestly think it'll be less because of Polanski's legal woes than because the cast is just plain weird. Pierce Brosnan? Kim Cattrall? In a Polanski thriller? Really?
