its great action , gore , crossbows its like an early 80's movie back when Carpenter , Dante and Landis were still knocking em out of the park great B-movie fun . not to be missed !
I wouldn't call it a "B" movie anymore than I'd call "District 9" a B-movie.
It is a allegorical tale about how we deal with the loss of a vital resource and how those with power and influence tend to treat such crises.
The ending left me with a "Cloverfield" moment where I thought, "Why wasn't this thought of before?" Then I realized that Harvard Business graduates now run Hollywood and it made sense why such an idea hasn't seen the light of day until now....
My only complaints are that the pacing is a bit slow and that the night time desert ambush should have been trimmed so as to make time for more development of the Alison character. We needed more of an emotional tether her. The reasons for which I won't disclose right now.
