Wow. Kim Ji-woon's epic western 'The Good, The Bad, The Weird' has collected a lot of air miles since its debut at Cannes in May of 2008. Kim's film has traveled all around the world, last settling down in Poland and Bulgaria back in October. IFC Films is making sure that it spends some time in New York three months from now on April 9th. Further details as we get them!

This movie is easily my favourite of 2009.
It is the purest cinematic joy of the last year. Fuck all you other cunts who say otherwise, because you're wrong.
About. Fucking. Time.
Anyone knows where it is showing? I would love to see it.
Has it not been on general release in the states? If not I highly recommend it to all Sergio Leone fans out there to hunt it down...
To be fair on this it's worth pointing out that the delay on this one was not at all IFC's doing. MGM threatened legal action on the film saying that the title infringed on The Good The Bad And The Ugly and it's taken this long to get it resolved ...
I did find this film boring with poor action scenes. I like A Bittersweet life from the same director much better.
For the first time the film is actually mentioned on the IFC Films website. There's no trailer and the images aren't there yet, but we have IFC making a public acknowledgement of the film's existence!. Satan is buying rock salt for his driveway even as we speak.
