I've said it before and I'll say it again. I would usually rather watch a bad horror movie than a good movie of any other kind. And a bad horror movie in 3D? Bring it ooooooon. I was a big fan of the first Final Destination. It mixed horror and humor and eye popping oh-no-they-didn't visuals in a way that has made it a classic that stands multiple smile and cringe inducing viewings. The second film in the series ...not so much. 3D ups the ante here but either you like this sort of thing or you don't. I noticed a bit of eye strain about ten minutes in and I'm sure it would feel weird after but there was remarkably little ghosting and it looked great on my 720p 32 inch LG (not nearly as great on a CRT screen though). You only get two pairs of glasses but they are standard red/blue (not those crummy new magenta/teal or whatever they are) so if you have 3D specs from anything else laying around they should work fine. No real extras here except for the Deleted Scenes which, niftily enough, are most composed of unused gore shots.

I just got home from spending about a week at my friends out of town. They had bought this on blu ray. Last Christmas I bought them Synecdoche, NY. Well I was trying to convince them to watch Synecdoche since it had been on their shelf a full year. They decided Final Destination was the better choice. When the crap fest ended, they apologized to me. This movie was BAD and not in a good way, just plain bad.
