Christopher Nolan has yet to put a foot wrong in my book and to say that his Inception is the summer movie of 2010 'round these parts is a pretty fair statement. And though he's still playing things close to the vest as far as details go the writer-director has fianlly spilled some scant details in a new interview with the LA Times. Quoth Nolan:
With the core plot device revolving around corporate espionage via the invasion of people's dreams, comparisons to recent Japanese effort Paprika seem apt.I think we've put a lot of different things into the pot with this one. I grew up watching James Bond films and loving those and watching spy movies with their globe-trotting sensibility. We get to do that here not just geographically but also in time and dimensions of reality as well. We get to make a movie that's expansive, I suppose you'd say, in four dimensions.
