The fine purveyors of pinku at Pink Eiga have released a new slate of titles to U.S. DVD. In addition to releasing two of Yôjirô Takita's Groper Train films (Search for the Black Pearl and Wedding Capriccio), the company has also released discs of Daisuke Goto's Blind Love and Yutaka Ikejima's The Japanese Wife Next Door. These releases are loaded with supplements, including material exclusively produced by Pink Eiga. For example, both Groper Train titles contain jaw-dropping featurette in which Yutaka Ikejima (aka Mr. Pink) waxes nostalgically about the long-running film series. An extensive discussion of the Groper Train series is featured in the Twitch archives; write-ups for the other two films will appear in the near future.
