Though his involvement has been rumored for a little while there has never been any sort of official word as to whether French star Vincent Cassel really had or had not been cast in Darren Aronofsky's ballerina-thriller Black Swan. Well, I'd say this makes it official. Photos surfaced today of Cassel and Natalie Portman on set with word that Cassel is playing the director of the piece that Portman is dancing in. But the part is secondary, really. What really matters is that Cassel is in an Aronofsky film and that's moe than enough to make me a very happy boy, indeed.

agreed, i'll see anything with Cassell and anything by Aronofsky. What the pretty but wooden Amidala Portman is doing in there i dont know. Maybe with a director like this she will be able to shove some kind of emotions...she hasnt really been interesting since hanging out with Jean Reno.
ohmygodohmygodohmygod!! Hopefully this movie is as good as The Fountain and gets the attention that The Wrestler got. That would be a dream come true.
