Sundance 2010: Trailer for Impressive Indie Romance OBSELIDIA

Here's a little something from the official lineup at Sundance to quiet those criticizing the festival for being all mopey: a thoroughly engaging trailer for Obsedilia, an indie romance that doesn't seem to have an ironic or bitter bone in it's body and somehow manages to pull that off without being irritating about it.

Written and directed by Diane Bell the film follows a solitary librarian compiling an encyclopedia of obsolete things as he meets and falls in love with a lovely young projectionist in Death Valley.  The one false note:  I've met lots of projectionists and none of them have been anything like Gaynor Howe.  Heh.

Was that first comment from a sheep? or a typo that should have been Ja.
The trailer is very promising, a refreshing change from the usual special FX & foul language.
Looking FWD to the film, which I'm sure will leave me in a good mood.

I'd buy an encyclopedia about obsolete things. And I might even see this movie.
