Oooh ... lots of pretty pictures in the new trailer for Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland. The lady-friend has a (not-so) moderate obsession with Alice (to the tune of 30+ different editions of the novel filling space on the shelves) so there's no doubt I'll be seeing this on opening day and, happily, I'm actually looking forward to it more and more the more I see from it.

The first time I saw the original trailer I couldn't make sense of why Tim Burton had chosen someone much older to play Alice. Now I see why: Alice was gone for years but now she has come back to Wonderland. Spielberg did the same sort of thing when he did his spin on Peter Pan with Hook. I'm cool with that...
I don't get it. Why is Alice so tiny?
And the autor was supposed to be somewhat pedophile, maybe they want to prevent trouble? But that's a bit far out maybe.
