Am I the only one who doesn't understand a word out of Mickey Rourke's mouth? THey really need to give him subtitles. And Scarlett in red.... Oh, Lordy. I shall requre fresh underpants...
As an aside, I despise the new Quicktime video format. Used to be you could see how much of the video has loaded. Now you can't, so it's constant start-stops because you don't know if the video is fully loaded or stuck somewhere. Another trend in the downhill slide of Apple products...
No, I mean that the loading bar does not show load progression. The Alice in Wonderland trailer still uses the format which I like, with a darker grey showing loading progression. But thanks anyway.
It looks promising. I must say that I think the story seems a whole lot more interesting this time around, to be honest. The first one was overrated, and bored the hell out of me.
For part two of our Berlinale 2012 Preview (here's part one - the Competition Lineup), we'll be highlighting titles in the Forum and Panorama sections. What's the difference? According to the festival, the Forum section includes the most daring and risk-taking films of the program, while the Panorama section includes films specifically targeted at buyers (who are generally not...

For the second time in two years, I am frustrated and a bit sad to begin discovering the work of a great, oft-overlooked filmmaker upon reading news of their death. Such was the case last year with Jean Rollin, whose passing prompted me to dig into his filmography and in turn discover one of the most unique genre filmmakers...

Berlinale 2012 kicks off in three days, and with its vast, diverse international program, preparation is mandatory. Just roll your mouse over the screen and the loading bar shows up along with a play and pause button.
You could also just download the HD file.
Lucky there's ample time to adjust the ropey video game cgi.
