For those in the know about recent Spanish genre cinema, this is a collision of talents to be excited about. Producers Telecinco (Pan's Labyrinth, The Orphanage) and M.A. Faura (Hierro), director Eugenio Mira (The Birthday) and writer Antonio Trashorras (The Devil's Backbone) are now in production on Agnosia a film they are keeping very quiet about, allowing only that it is a heavily genre tinged romantic thriller. Here's the official word:

Expect us to keep a close eye on this one and take a look at the images in the gallery below."Agnosia" is a romantic thriller set in Barcelona in 1899, in which a terrible plot (plan) is woven around the strange illness of a young heiress.
Starring Eduardo Noriega, Martina Gedeck, Bárbara Goenaga and Félix Gómez.
