Who's going to be scrapping it out for the little golden guy early in 2010? Oscar has just released the complete list of sixty five films submitted for consideration for the Best Foreign Language award and while some of these have been known for quite some time - hello, Mother - others - such as the fantastically titled The World Is Big And Salvation Lurks Around The Corner - have not.

Personally I think my countries entry is rather strange, even though it's a fine film and all, it's just not Oscar material.
If I had to choose I would have appointed Back Soon, which is quirky and very Icelandic.
