Naomi Klein's frightening (and thorough) overview on late 20th century and early 21st century 'Disaster Capitalism' already got a brief short film from Mexican director Alfonso Cuaron, but it was UK chameleon director Michael Winterbottom who collaborated with the author (albeit in a rocky fashion) to turn the scope of the book into a documentary feature.
While it aired on the BBC (and is available for online streaming if you live in the region) last week, E1 has put a trailer up on Youtube. When we find a better copy than the grotty video quality, we will update this post.
Variety reviewed the workprint of this documentary when it showed at the 2009 Berlinale and had favourable things to say. Any of you UK folks out there manage to catch this when it aired Sept 1?
