Lee Byung Hun Shows Off His Abs In The Korean Trailer For I COME WITH THE RAIN

by Todd Brown, September 19, 2009 7:27 PM

Though it has been largely passed over by the world's big festivals, the sheer star power of Tran Ahn-Hung's action thriller I Come With The Rain is more than enough to guarantee that it will receive a significant release throughout Asia.  Riding the star power of Takuya Kimura the Japanese release has already come and gone and next in line will be Korea, thanks in no small part to the villainous turn by massive Korean star Lee Byung-Hun.

Kline, an ex-cop in Los Angeles traumatized by slaying a serial killer, is hired by a powerful corporate boss to go to the Philippines and find Shitao, his missing son. Kline's leads take him to Hong Kong. Torn between good and evil, caught in the crossfire between a mafia drug ring and the police, he tracks down Shitao, who has become a mysterious vagrant.

With the Korean release coming a Lee-centric trailer has just been released in that nation. Significantly improved from the Japanese trailer you can find this new one down below.  Shawn Yue and Josh Hartnett also star while the soundtrack features rather a lot of Radiohead.

Almost gave up on this film. Preferred the old trailer though.

Yeah me too, it's been like almost a year since I've seen the promo trailer and was hoping for a release soon...

It better get released worldwide soon, I'm running out of youth ( -angry-). Don't know who is handling international sales on this movie, but they should be ousted from the industry. This trailer is fine - the Jap poster was awesome - except it is kinda confusing. Byunghun's character is not the lead character.

Those of you overseas are very lucky. We do not even have a distrubution company for the film here in the US. If we don't get a company to pick this up soon, it will go the way of August and Motzart and the Whale... Straight to DVD. From all of the trailers I have seen, that would be a crime. The visual effects and open shots would be completly lost on a DVD.

Let's all keep our fingers crossed that we get it in the US soon!
