The short stories of Shuhei Fujisawa and their film adaptations should be well known to Twitchfilm readers by now. The Twilight Samurai, The Hidden Blade and Love and Honor are very much loved around these parts. So when word of another short story of his is being adapted to film we cross our fingers and hope that it has been treated as well as its predecessors.

Can't say I'm familiar with her work...
I own some of Fujisawa's stories in english, but I can't recall having read one where the samurai is a young woman.
