At the annual Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong convention, a special edition poster for the highly anticipated wuxia film The Storm Riders (風雲II) was unveiled in two version - regular photoshop and hand-painted artwork by Ma Wing Shing, the creator of the original manhua (Chinese comics) himself. Now, that is what I call a sweet looking poster. I wish there were more hand drawn poster out there.
The release date is on December 17th.

I love storm riders! Really got into the comics when they were xlated to english... and loved the tv show! talk about over the top madness despite the low budget the wealth of creativity was shocking! A real classic. I saw some of the animated one recently, looks great as well. Can't wait to see the next film, tho the last feature left me somewhat wanting for more... it just didn't hit that over-the-top sweet spot like swordsman 2 or kung fu cult master does... hopefully this new one will! SORRY FOR THE RAMBLE!
