We've been keeping an eye on Reg Harkema's Leslie, My Name Is Evil for a good while now and with the world premiere of the new film coming at the Toronto International Film Festival we've just been passed a block of stills from the film, including a pair that are making their debut here.
Perry, a sheltered chemical engineer, falls in love with Leslie, a former homecoming princess, when he is selected as a jury member at her hippie death cult murder trial.
It's a deliberate riff on the Manson family and the tail end of the hippy movement, when all the peace and love was just teetering on the edge of crashing down around everyone's ears. And knowing Harkema, he'll probably pull it all off to the sounds of one killer soundtrack. Hit the link below for images.
