Freshly announced as part of the lineup for the 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival, Topel Lee looks to bring the latest Filipino superhero to the screen with his Wapakman. With the film still relatively early in production - Metro Manila basically screens every Filipino film of note for the given year - details are still sketchy beyond the fact that Manny Pacquiao stars as a normal man who develops super powers and WWE star Dave Batista is in the cast, I presume as the villain. Our own Joey Fernandez has been singing Topel Lee's praises in these pages for years now and it's not hard to see why based on the short teaser that has just been released.
