This one should need no introduction around these parts, so we'll just get right to it. The US theatrical release of Park Chan-Wook's vampire drama Thirst comes in late July and Focus Features have just released the domestic trailer for the picture. A trailer that is probably even better than the original Korean trailers, so good on 'em. Check it out below the break.

That's one fine trailer...this will probably open only in the key cities of Boston, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
Okay, that probably was the first US trailer for a non-US film that's really, really impressed me. Little shaky with the subtitles, and I could have done without the quote(s), but overall that was great. I've got reservations about the film (though I'd still like to see it!) but top marks for effort to Focus, certainly.
2nding Eight Rooks, I think this trailer is actually more enticing their the original Korean ones. Definitely excited for this!
