You know, they don't really do the whole green-band, red-band thing with their movie trailers in the UK but if they did this brand new trailer for Jake West's Doghouse would very definitely be of the red variety. Red as in blood. And exposed brain. And severed body parts.
Vince (Stephen Graham) is handling his divorce badly. He’s depressed. Gone to pieces. But his mates aren’t giving up on him. Struggling with their own women troubles, they drag him off for an ultimate lads drinking weekend in the country. Arriving in the village of Moodley where the women outnumber the men 3:1, the boys find themselves holidaying in a village overrun by psychotic, homicidal Zombirds with a thirst for male flesh!

look great.. a fun film to look forward to
i thought trailers were meant to make films look 'good' and no utterly deplorable
This looks dreadful - surely all the funny bits should be in the trailer, yet I see/hear none. Danny Dyer doesn't do good movies. Ever. And these 'lads' seem to have dropped straight out of the 90s when the lads' mag was still vaguely fresh and relevant. It's almost like they've watched Shaun of the Dead and pondered how it could be remade but more stale... and that's a film that was fresh 5 years ago. Shame to see Stephen Graham wasted too.
