Hey! It's Woody Harrelson In A Film People Actually Want To See! The ZOMBIELAND Trailer Arrives!

by Todd Brown, June 19, 2009 7:03 PM

Ah, Woody. It's been easy to forget, in recent years, that you were once one of the brightest young up and coming stars, someone on the verge of becoming a true leading man - an actor capable of opening a film all on your own. Those were heady days for you, I suppose, and long gone, your star power partly squandered through bad choices, partly deliberately put aside as you got more and more involved in a variety of causes and generally withdrew from the lime light. But I think they might be coming back. And, bizarrely, Zombieland is why.

Ruben Fleischer's horror-comedy had been running generally below the radar until just recently when the first stills arrived and got people all a'flutter. And I think the people excited by those still images are going to positively explode once they see this thing in motion. Because, you see, Woody Harrelson doesn't just star in Zombieland. No, if the just released trailer is any indication, Woody Harrelson stars in Zombieland. No need for a synopsis on this, just check the trailer below the break.

You know what they haven't been making enough of lately? Zombie movies.

Saw this last night... I actually find this trailer incredibly irritating. Don't like it at all. And I loves me some zombie movies.

I think this looks entertaining and all but I dunno. It all just seems TOO familiar. Sure, it's been a few years since Shaun of the Dead but this just kinda seems like more of the same. Maybe once we see more the flick will distinguish itself a little bit more.

This movie appears to be a clone of Shaun of the Dead combined with dawn of the dead which seems a bit redundant. I'm not sure how i feel about this but i may check it out when it is released. I am a huge fan of zombie movies so its possible this could be good. The focus of global warming and climate/climate change may be this movies main downfall but its always possible they could give it a good spin. While i hope this is good, this trailer isn't too reassuring.
