'Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl' rights bought by Eleven Arts and festival news!

U.S.-Japanese sales and production house Eleven Arts has picked up international rights to super-splatter movie "Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl." This is good news for fans of Japanese splatter and sexualized gore films because they were the same outfit that also represented Tokyo Gore Police and that was quickly nabbed by Tokyo Shock/Media Blasters, the same group who brought Machine Girl to our shores, another film that has helped this surge in the mainstream.

We had already talked about the picture having its world premiere at the New York Asian Film Festival in June. Now it has also been confirmed to play at Fantasia in Montreal and Korea's Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival in July in 2009. So all you Canadian gore freaks will have to plan a trip out to belle Montreal this summer. Then the film will open in its native Japan on August 18th.

The trailer is after the break in all its NSFW glory!
