It's been relatively quiet lately on the mondotees print front but they're back with a few sweet items to wet your collector's needs. First up is the T-Shirt that originally Nakatomi Inc released, Never Forget VHS T-Shirt that I posted about a few months ago. This has now a permanent home over at Mondotees and you can show your love for the olden days by picking up one of these. They come in old school VHS clam shells and in three colors.
For those in the know The Print Mafia is one hot tamale when it comes to collectors prints. They've just done a couple of posters for The Alamo for the Roger Corman/Ramones classic ROCK N' ROLL HIGH SCHOOL and strangely the Dolly Parton "classic" 9 TO 5. Those go for only 20 bucks so that's not allot for a genuine hand printed PM poster.
Remember that Obama parody poster that Nakatomi head honcho Tim Doyle made in the form of a Transformer? Well that sucker sold out fast, within a day, and he's back with another Transformers themed print but this time it's a gig poster for MC Chris (I don't know who that is). Only 100 were made and only 40 went for sale at Nakatomi. This 18x24 poster has 4 colors, and metallic silver ink and goes for 30 buckaroons.
Also a kind of fun footnote. The original Obama Prime poster caught the attention of many people for being one of the better of the hundreds of Obama style parody posters out there. So good was the poster that it was sported on the official FX crew T-Shirts given out to ILM employees working on Transformers 2. That's pretty sweet.

I really liked their "Change" poster, so I think the Tim ILM story is brilliant.
Well done, guys! I'd love to have one of those shirts...
Nice poster. By the way MC Chris is a hip hop artist that occasionally does some work for Aqua Teen Hunger Force on Adult Swim and he also did the Star Wars song Fett's Vette that appeared on Zack and Miri Make a Porno.
MC Chris is an underground hip-hopper who can't get a record deal because he has the voice of a ten year old, helium-sucking girl. His music can be annoying to most folks but I find him hilarious.
www.mcchris.com - very funny geek rap. Loved his work since the first appearance on Sealab 2021 all those years ago.
