I wouldn't have called this one ahead of time but apparently Danish maverick Lars Von Trier and / or stars Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourgh have quite the fanbase in Italy. How else to explian that Von Trier's much anticipated horror picture will be rolling out there hot on the heels of its world premiere in Cannes? And you know what an impending commercial release means? It means a localized marketing campaign, and that means a brand new trailer for the film. Personally I prefer the two Danish efforts but there's no need to take my word for it. Check the new Italian trailer plus the two Danish ones below the break.
In Italy, Lars Von Trier is studied like Hitchcock and all the other usual all-stars. They are absolutely crazy with Trier, considering his pieces as masterworks.
