It's Miller Time! Night Of The Creeps confirmed Directors Cut next October!

by Swarez, April 3, 2009 8:04 PM

I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of bootleggers suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.
OK I promise this is not an April fools joke even though it looks eerily similar to my bogus Mimic post.
The movie lords have decided to smile upon us meek movie geeks by finally releasing the cult favorite Night Of The Creeps on DVD (and hopefully Blu Ray) next October. Not only are we getting the film on a proper legal format but it will be a director's cut supervised by Fred Dekker, using his original cemetery ending.
Shocktillyoudrop.com posted the news today with a quote from Red Shirt Pictures´ Michael Felsher where he had this to say

"It is coming out officially for the first time ever. Fred Dekker is already working on it, It's going to be the director's cut with the original ending. We're going to go balls to the wall with the special features on it...I talked to Sony today its official, we're going ahead and its coming out in October! It's officially In production...and moving forward, its coming!"

The Monster Squad DVD was a fantastic release that sold like gang busters as well so this will be a welcome addition to my collection. Now all they have to do is make a Special Edition director's cut of Robocop 3 (I kid, I kid)
October can't come soon enough.

Swarez, you do realize that this post might be based on an article that was based on a post based on an article published on the 1st of April, right?
Alternatively, this might be several sites getting back at you for duping them on Wednesday.

So be very careful about what you promise here...

....I'll be heartbroken if this isn't real.

Don't tease me like this, Swarez. It's bad for my health.

Ard the quote from Michael Felsher was featured on an interview that was posted today on deadpit.com so I think it's pretty legit.
I fucking hope so at least.
