I am currently wiping away a sad tear over the fact that io9 got this before we did but no matter: the first teaser for Sandy Collora's 1970's style science fiction feature Hunter Prey has just arrived in all of it's helmeted glory.
I've had the chance to see an early cut of the film and I can tell you that this trailer is very accurate to the look and feel of the film itself. It's a beautifully shot and designed piece of work from a man who is obviously steeped in this stuff. He's not putting on a pose here when he adopts this style, it's where Collora has come from and where his heart remains.

Is it just me or do I fail to see the 70's style in this?

What about the story? Judging by the synopsis it can go either way, is it at least decent storytelling?
Can't wait to see this one either on the big screen or DVD! Looks beautiful!
