Wow. And not in a good way.
There isn't a whole lot I can say about the trailer for Jeffrey Lau's upcoming science fiction slash romance slash kung fu action film except... really? I really can't stop laughing to myself as I type this up. I mean wow. The music from Heroes and the closing line of Terminator? No one but the Chinese will ever make a movie that looks like this.

Look, I went through all the trouble of downloading the English and the Chinese language trailer from SINA, slower than a three toed sloth on Valium SINA. You could at least respect THAT and watch the trailers for me.

That trailer looked like exactly what I'd expect from a Jeff Lau film called METALLIC ATTRACTION: KUNG FU CYBORG. The only thing missing was the original music from ASHES OF TIME, but I'm sure it'll be in the final product somewhere.
And it's already better than Bay's TRANSFORMERS.
