Right. Here are two facts that, when put together, make for pure gold. Fact one: writer / director Armando Iannucci reportedly told his sales agents that the initial cut of his scathing political satire In The Loop ran a whopping four hours long. I rather imagine that he was exaggerating a bit there, but the point is that with Iannucci's heavily improv based style there's a lot of material out there. Fact two: the film releases in UK theaters April 17th. And what better way to promote it that by putting some of that missing material out in public?
You guessed it kids, it's deleted scene time. The fine lads at Empire promise to run a new scene / clip / webisode from the production every day this week and we've got the first one - along with the trailer - below the break. It's got swearing. Lots of swearing.
