This gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. And it makes me want to run. Run. RUN. With Joy.
(Enjoying the Arcade Fire in there and here is hoping that they are still scoring Richard Kelly's The Box.)
Yes, the trailer for Spike Jonze's Where The Wild Things Are is embedded after the Jump.

Looks great so far, can't wait.
YES
ooh, some parts look really dark. no wonder the studio got cold feet. doesn't look like a kid's movie.
can't wait!!!
Looks beautiful!
My god, beautiful trailer.
I'm so excited !!
He also does a great job in The Brothers Bloom.
I'm going a bit off topic, but Kurt how is The Brothers Bloom? I loved Brick.
AMAZING!!! Need you say something more?
i would expect USA TODAY to have some professional writers...the second slide has grammatical errors...i haven't made it to the next slides. how can they claim to be a professional journalistic company if they can't even use the english language properly? i guess this is where the future of journalism is headed; anyone can write stories online without credentials and no one will act as editor to catch mistakes.
as most classic childrens books brought to the silver screen i am always skeptical and hesitant. as much as i like to think of myself as a film buff i hate to see things from my childhood destroyed by hollywood.
What book is this adapted from? I seem to have no knowledge of this. . .
Really keen to see Brothers Bloom as well (and see if I can get my hands on Brick). Someone here mentioned that the director was a Cowboy Bebop fan and I can certainly feel that love in the trailer.
Oh, I love just about *everything* about this trailer. Spike Jonze has done the book justice imo.
I'm hoping the music in the trailer isn't in the film, no offense to the artist but I'm not digging the indie hippie stuff in that one...
@thekinginyellow I wish we had copy editors! I find it crazy-tough to edit my own copy.
