
There's just something about a well-crafted apocalypse that ... well ... it doesn't warm the spirit exactly but it certainly makes for compelling viewing. And such is the case with Denis Rovira's Lazarus Taxon, a film set in the near future when the world has been flooded due to global warming and a man struggles to cross the New Sea to save his daughter from death. It's bleak, desolate stuff and exceptionally well crafted. You can check the trailer below the break.


it's like waterworld but not utter shit
It looks like The Road but... at sea... OK, seriously (and no offense to brett's comment there) it sounds promising: can't gauge much from the teaser other than a rightfully dark mood.
The look of the thing is really good. Just have to wait what the actual film is like.
The Green screen seems very noticable in the boat shots. Other than that I'm sold.
