The second teaser trailer for Imagi Studios' Astro Boy was actually online temporary a few days back but I opted to hold out on posting it until an alternative source comes along that isn't accessible to US only and its in good video quality. Just as I anticipated, it has arrived on Yahoo! Movies with high definition. So whats new compare to the last teaser? This gives us a better idea of the story, it introduce some unseen characters and we get to hear the voice acting for the first time. There is even a cameo appearance hidden somewhere. Can you spot who is it?
Set in futuristic Metro City, Astro Boy is about a young robot with incredible powers created by a brilliant scientist named Tenma (Nicolas Cage). Powered by positive “blue” energy, Astro Boy (Freddie Highmore) is endowed with super strength, x-ray vision, unbelievable speed and the ability to fly.Embarking on a journey in search of acceptance, Astro Boy encounters many other colorful characters along the way. Through his adventures, he learns the joys and emotions of being human, and gains the strength to embrace his destiny. Ultimately learning his friends and family are in danger, Astro Boy marshals his awesome super powers and returns to Metro City in a valiant effort to save everything he cares about and to understand what it takes to be a hero.

You never get too old for awesome animated movies, even if they're aimed at children!
I realize that it doesn't have the same texture density or animation quality of say a Pixar feature, but it probably has only 60% of the budget. Personally I think it looks like a lot of fun.
Would it be harsh to lose hope in a film simply by the voice actor alone?
Probably, just watch it subtitled and dubbed in another language if that's the case =)
