Proper Trailer For Jake West's Splatter-Comedy DOGHOUSE Arrives!

[Apparently my brain is made of cheese. This is the same reel that was released before, the proper trailer is promised to arrive in a couple months time.]

I confess: I am an unabashed fan of Jake West's Evil Aliens, a film that is remarkably smart about how stupid it is and spreads blood, gore and breasts across the screen with adolescent glee. It also features the best on-screen use of farm implements ever committed to celluloid. And so I have been eagerly awaiting whatever tidbits from West's new film Doghouse - his first proper feature since Evil Aliens, after a couple forays into made-for-tv fare - may have been released in the time since.

Pitting a minibus full of single men on retreat to help one of their number through a rough divorce against a town full of women driven mad by an airborne toxin that affects only the fairer sex, turning them into violent, bloodthirsty fiends who prey upon their menfolk.

A while back a sales reel mistakenly labelled as a formal trailer arrived online but that reel was based only on the first few days of shooting and had not yet been through post and so was still rather rough around the edges. But now? Now the full, proper trailer has arrived and it's chock full of men behaving badly and female zombies behaving even worse. The cast in this is a lot of fun - Danny Dyer (Severance), Stephen Graham (Snatch, This Is England) plus the guy who plays Mickey on Doctor Who - and the trailer promises plenty to keep West's fans happy. Check it out below the break!

Sweet! Evil Aliens rocked even though it felt like a skinemax soft porn at times. The trailer feels like a cross between Shaun of the Dead and Undead, but if it's got the cheese and humor of Evil Aliens then this is going to be a blast for sure.

This looks really good - a mash-up of Shawn of the Dead with FHM/Loaded magazine laddish mentality. I love Dyer's line about sounding like a dolphin. Stephen Graham is worth checking out in The Crew, also.

Valcrist - You can get the Saw soundtrack online, OR, if you trust giving out your e-mail, I can send the MP3 (Charlie Clouser - Saw Final Theme).
