It looks like Trek and Terminator will be battling it out for scifi supremacy this year and wouldn't you know I'm stuck behind a firewall on the day that the new Trek trailer drops. According to online commentary it's rather good, but I can't see a damn thing. Sigh.

At WonderCon the applause-o-meter definitely favored the Star Trek trailer over Terminator: Salvation, and nearly upsetting them both? Pixar's Up (which is hilarious).
Not a Trek fan at all, but I saw this before Watchmen tonight and was sold on it big time.

Would have never given a Star Trek film a second thought in the past, especially the TNG films after the first one or two of those [how terrible has TNG aged, eh? Brutal]. But this? This? This looks pretty freaking cool.
This was shown before the screening of Watchmen I attended yesterday. Pretty impressive, but I still can't stand this bratty Kirk.

just a bunch a pretty faces and random cgi overkill. it doesn't even tease at a real story, just the old farty distress call.....
