Because that's when Jeremy Alter's The Perfect Sleep begins its limited theatrical run before heading to New York, Chicago, Dallas, and Portland.

I had a chance to catch an early screening of this and Alter is pretty much a genius with the camera, the film every bit as striking as the gorgeous trailer that you'll find below the break.

Dammit this looks so good - a proper noir feel with modern action, all enthused with a light touch not dissimilar to Millers Crossing. I. Want. It. Now. Seriously, any word on a UK release?
