Quick! Name the least glamorous time travel scenario possible! If you suggested three half drunken friends discover that a rift in the space-time continuum has taken up residence in the toilet of their local pub, then you are a winner! Either that or you just happen to be already familiar with upcoming UK comedy FAQ About Time Travel. The trailer for the film - which looks to be every inch determined to take the piss out of big, glamorous Hollywood scifi - actually popped up a little while back but everyone who pointed to it got cease-and-desisted and so I've been lying in wait for it to appear in non-lawsuit inspiring form, which it just has via the official website.
The trailer, honestly, seems a touch clumsy in the way it has been edited but the draw - and it is a big one - lies with star Chris O'Dowd. O'Dowd is best known as the star of hit geek-com The IT Crowd and while I've never been a huge fan of the writing in that show I have always been a fan of O'Dowd in it. There's just something about this guy that is compulsively watchable and low-key hilarious. Yes, I'm a fan and hopefully this will be his break in features. He definitely deserves it.

Just a bit more info on O'Dowd, he seems to have a small part in the upcoming Richard Curtis comedy The boat that Rocked. Hopefully big things are on the horizon for him.
