In need of some snow-bound terror from the warmth of your own home? Momentum Pictures are releasing the oft praised Norwegian slasher flicks, Cold Prey and Cold Prey 2 as a box set on 27th April. A chilly and suitably unnerving horror, Cold Prey was elevated beyond its conventional plot by some great performances, likeable characters and imaginative visuals that make the most of the frosty setting. A group of snowboarders are stalked by a mysterious killer after one of them is injured in the Norwegian mountains, forcing them to hole up in a deserted ski lodge. The sequel continues where the first left off as Jannicke (Ingrid Bolsø Berdal) from the first movie wakes up in hospital to find her torment is not quite over...

Will these be released in Blu?
I got the first one and I was planing to get the second one but found out that there were no English subs on the Norwegian DVD and Blu Ray.
Cold Prey and Rovdyr were my favourite horror movies of last year. i liked the way Cold Prey dealt with the usual slasher conventions - a character being killed because she DIDn't have casual sex, for example. Really looking forward to the sequel.
Does anyone know if the Norwegian DVD release has Swedish subs? The first one did but I can´t find any information on this one. Grateful for help.

Not that Amazon UK is ever reliable for actual DVD content, but Cold Prey 2 as a single release is being listed currently as with Director's Commentary and Behind The Scenes. Momentum's own website isn't giving anything up just yet though...
