Winner of the Palme D'Or at Cannes last year, Laurent Cantet's The Class (Entre les murs - literally 'Between the walls') is getting a welcome UK theatrical release on 27th February. Based on the 2006 novel by François Bégaudeau, the film also stars the author in a semi-autobiographical tale of his time teaching at a rough inner city school in Paris.
