For those seeking more Final Fantasy goodness, your in luck because a trailer for the complete edition of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children has been posted at the official site in glorious Hi-Def. The complete edition will contain 30 minutes of additional footage which you can get a preview in the trailer and it looks like the animators from Square Enix has incorporated some new scenes including a flashback from Last Order: Final Fantasy VII (OVA prequel to Advent Children) for more backstory and to flesh out the characters.
No word yet on a US distribution but if your a hardcore Final Fantasy fan, you can import the Blu-ray from Japan when it ships on April 16th. Check out the trailer below after the jump.

Another gorgeous looking movie. Hopefully it won't be too long until a North American release.
So they're not releasing a non-Blu-ray version with all of this extra footage? This looks like a bunch of extra action was added to the original film, and that'd suck if it were only on Blu-ray.
adderall needed for the visuals and ear plugs for the music.
hideous
Amazing!
Ugh. Dreafully boring and nonsensical film. I had no idea what was going on. Maybe if I hadn't been having more fun washing dishes and doing laundry at the same time I would've been more interested. Yeah it looks nice, but from a story-telling point of view, it was awful.
Hey Drewbacca, your not alone on the confusion part. Advent Children was intended for the people who already played the game and have a better understanding on the characters. Those who are unfamiliar with the game are left out of the loop.
definitely buying the japanese blu ray
