The ongoing legal spat between Fox and Warner Brothers has apparently come to an end and has done so in exactly the fashion that most observers felt it would the moment the preliminary ruling came doing that said Fox did, indeed, own at least a distribution stake in the film and possibly more: With Warner Brothers paying up. Exact terms of the deal were not disclosed but according to the Hollywood Reporter, Warner Brothers' end of the arrangement includes a large cash payout plus giving Fox a percentage stake in the boxoffice. In return for this, Fox are giving up any current or future claims of ownership to the title. So ... March 6th, here we come.
