
Okay, fans of iconic Canuck director Bruce McDonald, here's a chance to spend an evening with the man while also helping to support his upcoming feature A Love Supreme. With co-director Peter Lynch, Mconald is currently working on a jazz-infused boy-meets-girl movie and, thanks to the wondrous state of Canadian film financing, is throwing a fund raiser this coming Wednesday, September 28th. For a fifty dollar admission you can join McDonald and the musicians involved in the film for an evening at the Trane Studio on Bathurst Street for a night of live music and a look at early footage from the film.
