IFC puts Sauna out on VOD

by Kurt Halfyard, January 22, 2009 4:38 AM

There are a few of us in these parts that are big, BIG fans of Antti-Jussi Annila's period horror, Sauna. Despite some real indifference in Annila's native country of Finland (for a sad story, read this), IFC picked it up for distribution shortly after it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. They are finally releasing the film as Video on Demand on March 25th. Do yourself a favour, turn the lights down, and watch this great horror picture.

Hopefully this also means a DVD release, because I don't have VOD service and nor does anyone I know, but knowing IFC's recent track record I'm worried. I mean where is "The Pleasure of Being Robbed"?
