"Bollywood" and "action film" tend to look a little odd sharing space together in the same sentence. It's not that Bollywood doesn't make action films - they make every kind of film, to varying degrees - it's more that their action films follow such a different set of rules than typical western action flicks that, well, they jut seem kind of goofy. But Ghajini? This one doesn't seem goofy at all.
Aamir Khan - an incredibly buff Aamir Khan - stars in the lead of this revenge thriller about a man tracking down those he blames for the death of his beloved and the trailer, while brief, doesn't pull any punches. While still a little glossier than Ram Gopal Varma's output back when he was at his peak, Ghajini is pretty virile stuff with nary a trace of singing in the trailer - which doesn't mean it won't be in the finished film, necessarily, but they generally give a taste of the music in all promo materials to help sell records - and, more importantly, a whole lot of proof that Khan can make one thoroughly believable action stars. These fights are fast and hard and brutal.
But don't take my word for it, we've got the trailer below the break.

I never thought I'd live to see a bonafide Indian action film, but I'm very, very glad to have found this. The world is truly a shrinking culture.
is this another adaptation/remake of another Hollywood movie... ermmm... from the trailer... its kinda rings something in my head... remember MEMENTO? from the director CHRISTOPHER NOLAN. that photograph... that tattoo... and that 'dizzy' walk kinda try to remember things... memento is great but cant imagine a bollywood version of it. @_@
Ghajini is a fame-to-frame rip of Memento, they haven't spared the dialogues either. It's said to be inspired by a Tamil film that is again said to have been inspired by Memento.
It certainly looks like Memento, filtered through a Luc Besson fighting film.

That made it sound even worst D:
