Okay, I'm going to need some help from our Russian-speaking readership out there on this one because I'm pretty much grasping at straws here but the trailer for upcoming Russian picture Generation P is too good to ignore. From what I can see the film tracks its lead character through the rapid changes of recent Russian history and his progression from counter culture slacker to black marketeer to gangster as capitalism takes hold in the nation and money pours in to those who know how to grasp it.
I've never seen anything quite like this one, it's a film that looks as though it manages to be both critical and nostalgic at the same time and I'm fascinated to know more. Check the trailer below the break.

It's about early 90s when Western lifestyles and producted flooded into Russia, so the main character starts his business by promoting new products. He's very creative, but the film is more then that, it's about changes, changes in lives and in minds
