It would appear that every single Chinese media site on the face of the planet has a deep, irrational, very personal hatred for me. This, I presume, is why nary a single one of them is allowing me to take a look at the brand new, freshly released teaser for the Pang Brothers Storm Warriors, the big budget, digital backlot sequel to hit martial arts fantasy Storm Riders. This would be immensely distressing - the Pangs are enormously talented on the visual level and whatever their failings may be on a story level this sort of film should be an out and out playground for them - if not for the fact that I managed to catch the promo reel for the picture at the American Film Market, a reel made up of the only two scenes from the film that had actually been completed at that stage. What did I think at the time? Pretty damn impressive. What will you think? Check it out below the break.

Oh ... and Rhythm-X, what did you use to capture the file? My regular plug in never recognizes stuff from mTime on those occassions when the site actually works for me ...
I used the Flashgot extension for Firefox, which allows me to save it as a FLV file. For YouTube I use file2hd.com, as Flashgot isn't working right with YouTube lately.

very short but nice. I wish there was more footage though. the teaser was only like 20 seconds. Any chance of seeing the AFM footage?
Thanks ! But tad bit too short to see if how good it is actually. I would have preferred Whispering Wind ( Ekin Cheng's character ) to have more dramatic, flowy hair, just like the way he looks in the comics, but from the one shot seen in the above teaser he looks pretty much the same from the first film.
Well, too early to tell I guess. Waiting.
